煮蟲食譜

各位讀者大概已知吃昆蟲將是下期人類飲食方面大熱項目,此法可解決人類糧食危機問題,因昆蟲數量超勁多,在世界每一角落都有,可說「任食唔嬲」。好了,乘著此潮流,有人推出了煮昆蟲食譜,教大家烹煮美味的昆蟲來吃!

美國廚師David George Gordon近日推出“The Eat-a-Bug Cookbook, Revised: 40 Ways to Cook Crickets, Grasshoppers, Ants, Water Bugs, Spiders, Centipedes, and Their Kin” 食譜,介紹四十款昆蟲食譜,包括:咖喱燜白蟻、炸大蜘蛛、蜜蜂沙律、蟋蟀沙律、蠟蟲曲奇、蟲朱古力、炒蟋蟀、虱意粉、蟻啤梨沙律等等。Gordon 63歲,已有10多年吃昆蟲經驗,他向大家大讚吃昆蟲,說好味兼有益。

除Gordon外,Julieta Ramos-Elorduy也出了書教大家吃昆蟲,在“Creepy Crawly Cuisine: The Gourmet Guide to Edible Insects”她教大家蒸臭蟲肉餅、炸蟋蟀丸子、咖喱草蜢、白酒汁Agave蟲、蟻芙朗( Flan )甜品等等,有些跟著烹調的讀者說的確好味。
